You will note that OpenBEM does not make use of a graphical user interface. This means that a user of the code will have to invest some time in getting into the program and its use. The package contains several examples of its use. A user of the code must typically have some knowledge with acoustics and the Boundary Element Method before mastering the code. The code provides only rough checks of input and output data, and it is up to the user to validate the calculations.
